Bull City Roofing is looking for motivated, outgoing people to join our growing field marketing team. No experience is required. Full training is provided. About Bull City Roofing Bull City Roofing is a residential roofing contractor serving Raleigh, Durham, Cary, and the surrounding Triangle. We provide roof repairs and full replacements, including insurance-claim and retail projects. With more than 70 five-star Google reviews, we take pride in earning homeowners’ trust through honest communication and dependable service. What You’ll Do Knock on doors in local neighborhoods and introduce homeowners to Bull City Roofing. Identify homes with older roofs or visible signs of potential damage. Schedule free roof inspections at least 24 hours in advance. Collect accurate homeowner contact information and submit daily activity reports. Represent Bull City Roofing professionally, without pressuring homeowners or making misleading claims. Attend weekly Tuesday team training and roleplay sessions. Your primary focus is generating qualified inspection appointments. Bull City Roofing’s sales team handles the inspection and sales process. Compensation This is a results-based role with no hourly pay or base salary. $50 per qualified inspection once the inspection takes place. 2% of the contract value for roofing jobs that close from your leads, paid after Bull City Roofing collects payment from the homeowner. Payments issued twice monthly. For illustration, 10 completed qualified inspections and five closed jobs averaging $15,000 each would generate $2,000 in compensation. Fourteen inspections and seven closed jobs at the same average value would generate $2,800. These examples are illustrative, not guaranteed earnings.To qualify for inspection pay, the appointment must involve an older roof or visible potential damage, be booked at least 24 hours ahead, and actually take place. Lead information must include the homeowner’s name, property address, and at least one of a phone number or email address. No-shows and incorrect addresses do not qualify. Schedule Approximately 20–25 hours per week, generally in 4–5 hour blocks. Flexible scheduling within productive canvassing hours, with weekend availability expected. Afternoon and early evening availability during the week. Saturdays are a key canvassing day. Weekly Tuesday team session. This is an in-person, outdoor role that involves walking through neighborhoods and speaking with homeowners. What We’re Looking For At least 18 years old, with reliable transportation and a smartphone. Comfortable approaching strangers and handling frequent rejection. Coachable, honest, dependable, and motivated by results. Able to guide a conversation confidently while respecting homeowners. Willing to work outdoors and follow company safety and solicitation guidelines. Prior door-to-door, sales, canvassing, or commission-based experience is a plus. Students, recent graduates, sales and business club members, and athletes are encouraged to apply. Training and Growth You’ll join a small training class and complete a four-week ramp that includes orientation, trainer ride-alongs, supervised door knocking, and a transition to independent canvassing. Training covers the pitch, common objections, lead capture, safety, and identifying potential roofing needs from the street.Performance reviews take place at 30, 60, and 90 days. Expectations progress from at least four qualified inspections during weeks three and four to eight in month two and 10 per month by month three.
