The Sales Internship is designed as a feeder program into Daikin's Accelerated Management Program (AMP), offering top-performing interns a pathway to a full-time one-year leadership development experience focused on Outside Sales after graduation. This position may be located in the following cities: Houston, TX; Dallas, TX; Chicago, IL; Los Angeles, CA; Phoenix, AZ; Kansas City, KS; Tacoma, WA; Portland, OR; Jacksonville, FL; Orlando, FL; Columbus, OH; Louisville, KY; Baltimore, MD Position Responsibilities During the internship, college students will: Work on an individual project with your direct teamInteract with leadership in the company, including VPs Network across functions and teamsParticipate in social and team building activities Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Provide report outs to leadership on project milestones and challenges Utilize reliable transportation to consistently commute to and from their assigned work location Travel for business purposes approximately two weeks to support project and operational objectives Nature and Scope Works within well-defined instructions Uses established procedures and works under supervision to perform assigned tasks Work is supervised but requires creative thinking and self-starting behaviors Knowledge and Skills Project Planning Skills Ability to analyze complex problems and provide solutions Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Effective organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and adjust to a fast-paced environment Ability to apply good judgement, strong work ethics, and integrity on the job Effective verbal and written communication skills including skills to build relationships with stakeholders Proficiency in Microsoft Office Highly motivated to achieve desired goals and objectives  Experience  No previous experience is required Education Must be at least 18 years old Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident Must be currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited in a four-year college or university Graduation dates: December 2027- May 2028 Physical work requirements Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
